Lata Kinjang is one of the highest waterfalls in South East Asia as the whole falls total 850 m in height. It can be seen very well from the North-South highway. It is located at a small town named Chenderiang and approximately 22 kilometers from Kampar. It’s name originated from ‘kinjang’ which means deer in English.

There were few shops selling things, therefore do not worry if you forgot to bring the towels, or clothes. There also got few facilities such as car parks, toilets, and hawker stalls. All the basic things are there.
What To Do In Lata Kinjang
There are two parts to this waterfall. The first is a mild cascade with water flowing over large rocks. Many would like to slide down the rocks but that is not advisable. The shallow dipping pool here is suitable for children under the close watch of adults.During hot weather,, this waterfall is the hotspot for visitors to take a dip in the cool water pool formed by the waterfall.
Besides, there are many picnic spots in the waterfall which makes it a perfect place to enjoy a picnic with your family and friends. The hanging bridge in the waterfall is a perfect spot to enjoy watching the beauty of the waterfall flowing from a height of around 100 meter. The track is primarily used for walking and nature trips and is accessible year-round.

- Watch your steps on wet and slippery rocks
- Prepare mosquito repellant.

Getting To Lata Kinjang
It’s about 15-20 minutes’ from Tapah town and 1 hour from Ipoh. It is located near the Kampung Asli Lata Kinjang.
